Call for participants to workshop on
“Intelligent Infrastructures for Sustainable and Resilient Future Energy Systems”
Under the Researcher Links scheme offered by the British Council and TUBITAK, we will be holding a workshop on the above theme at Istanbul Kemerburgaz University, Turkey, during the period 24-27 May 2017. The workshop is being coordinated by Dr Ioana Pisica and Dr Oguzhan Ceylan, and will have contributions from other leading researchers,
- Prof Gareth Taylor (Brunel University London - Professor in Power Systems and Leader of Smart Power Networks - Institute of Energy Futures),
- Dr Ahmed Zobaa (Brunel University London – Senior Lecturer with extensive expertise in Renewable Energy),
- Prof Mehmet Hakan Hocaoglu (Gebze Technical University – Head of the Electronics Engineering Department),
- Dr Tuba Gozel (Gebze Technical University – Assistant Professor specialised in electricity distribution systems).
We are now inviting Early Career Researchers from the UK and Turkey to apply to attend this workshop. All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the Researcher Links programme.
